What: Join American Farmland Trust’s New England Climate and Agriculture team and Jake Lipton of Pleasant View Farms for a farmer roundtable discussion of recent climate impacts and approaches to building resilience on our farmlands. Jake will kick off the conversation with his observations, and attendees will be asked to share their thoughts. The goal of this event is to bring awareness to climate impacts, provide moral support, share resources and technical info, and help each other think about how to build resilience.
This event is geared toward livestock producers, but all farmers are welcome.
This is a free, farmer-focused, peer-to-peer event. Space is limited; service providers by invitation only. Coffee and refreshments are provided.
