Pasture Field Day with Sykes Hollow Farm and SVT Farm

Join us for a day in the field with Laura Burch of SVT Farm and Ken Leach and Joanne Chickering of Sykes Hollow Farm! Pasture walk topics will include pasture renovation and weed management, forage diversity and residual management, strategies for multi-species grazing, and overseeding and soil amendments. Both farms are part of a USDA-NRCS Conservation Innovation Grant on-farm research project that ends after this season, looking at grazing management and soil health outcomes over a 5-year period. Farmers and the research team will share data, field observations, and initial lessons learned from the project.
