Solar Cellular Cameras

Any recommendations on cameras with live feed access and night vision? Needs to be solar powered and Cellular.

Lots of game Cameras, but I’m looking for live access video, not just movement triggered photos.

I use the anywhere cam and love it. Easy set up and easy to move; solar charging genuinely works and the feed is easy to control.

Use Vosker. Cellular and solar. Not cheap but good.

Hi - I graze several leased properties and use Tactacam Reveal X trail cameras with the attached solar panel accessory for checking water supplies. I schedule photos sent every 2 hours and can request on-demand video as needed. This requires the “starter” plan ($5/month/camera) with the “Xtra” add on (additional $9/month total for 3+ cameras). While my cameras do not support live view, I believe the Reveal Ultra camera does. I’ve tried several different camera brands over the years (Spypoint, Browning) for both hunting and livestock monitoring and I’ve had the best experience by far with Tactacam. I found the Spypoint cameras in particular to be very disappointing on quality and the customer service was not great. The pastures I graze are in Hartford, Norwich, and Tunbridge - each has a mix of phone cell service quality but the cameras seem to work just fine at all three.

I also wintered my animals at a property in Vershire where I used a product by TP Link point to point bridge to send wifi out to the barn several hundred feet away and connect to multiple TP Link Cameras with live view capability. Very effective way to shoot wifi access out a considerable distance from a home access point, but generally does require line of sight. The entire set up was around $300 for multiple cameras and the functionality was good (battery life acceptable, night vision good, connection consistent and steady). The software set up end was a bit more complicated than I had expected but overall I was very happy with that system.
